From heritage to luxury: Here’s what Ajman will showcase at ATM 2026 in Dubai

DUBAIAjman is set to put its tourism, cultural heritage and growing hospitality offering in the spotlight at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026 in Dubai.

The Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture & Media will participate in the four-day event at Dubai World Trade Centre from 14 to 17 September.

Under the theme ‘Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology’, the emirate will present its destination offering to tourism professionals, industry leaders and potential partners from regional and international markets.

The participation will focus on showcasing Ajman as an authentic and future-ready destination, while highlighting its diverse attractions, distinctive visitor experiences and expanding tourism ecosystem. The department will also use the event to strengthen industry relationships, explore new partnerships, diversify source markets and support the emirate’s longer-term tourism ambitions.

Inside the stand

Visitors to Ajman’s stand will encounter a mix of media, cultural and interactive experiences designed to highlight the emirate’s identity and development.

One of the featured installations will be ‘From the Memory of Ajman’, a dedicated media corner displaying a curated collection of archival photographs. The images will document key milestones in Ajman’s history and development, giving visitors a visual look at the journey behind the emirate’s modern identity.

An interactive zone will introduce visitors to Ajman’s tourism experiences, while the Craftsmen Majlis will provide a dedicated cultural space focused on traditional crafts and local heritage. The presentation is designed to connect traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary visitor experience while highlighting the UAE’s wider cultural legacy.

Tourism partners

Ajman’s presence will also bring together a broad cross-section of its tourism ecosystem, underlining cooperation between government bodies, hospitality businesses, tourism operators and the private sector.

Participating hospitality and tourism entities include Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort; Al Zorah Beach Resort; Fairmont Ajman; Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel; Dusit Ajman Resort & Villas; Wyndham Garden Hotel; Radisson Blu Hotel; Zarya Wellness Spa Management Company FZE; and Ewan Ajman Suites Hotel.

The wider delegation will include Ajman Chamber, Bronz Tourism, MUSANDAM ADVENTURE Travel, Arabian Oryx Travel and Tourism LLC, Flash Horizon and Rida International Tourism & Travel.

According to Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, the ATM platform will allow the emirate to engage with leading tourism partners and industry specialists while presenting a destination proposition built around its identity, heritage, evolving experiences, innovation and technology.

The department has also highlighted cooperation between government entities, tourism establishments and the private sector as an important part of developing Ajman’s tourism ecosystem and strengthening its appeal across priority international markets.

At ATM 2026, these elements will come together through the emirate’s stand, offering industry visitors a closer look at Ajman’s heritage, hospitality, leisure experiences and emerging tourism opportunities.
